Youree started from a specific frustration: existing energy tools optimize assets. None of them arbitrate the shared site constraint.
The starting point
Every constrained site has the same blind spot.
The standard answer to electrical capacity constraints is “upgrade the service” or “add smart charging.” The first takes 18–36 months. The second doesn’t address the site-level constraint. We kept running into facilities where the tools in place — SCADA, BMS, CSMS — each optimized their own domain, and nobody arbitrated the shared electrical envelope. The result: conservative derating, missed DR opportunities, and CAPEX spend on upgrades that weren’t strictly necessary.
Youree is the layer that was missing. It reconstructs the real operating state — breaker by breaker, bus by bus — and computes what the site can actually do before issuing a single setpoint.
Technical differentiation
Three things most orchestration platforms don’t do.
Most platforms talk to assets. Youree reconstructs the electrical graph first — conductor impedances, breaker states, transformer taps — and validates power balance before any orchestration decision is made.
A chiller with 45 minutes of thermal mass contains flexibility that's already paid for. Youree quantifies recovery factors and thermal debt so pre-cooling and coast modes can be used without compromising process.
Orchestration runs on-site. No cloud round-trip in the control loop. Behavior during a network outage is defined, not undefined. Every setpoint decision is logged and explainable.
